Cybercrime and Coffee Shops – Security Tips for Free Public Wifi

Sitting in a café, sipping a Frappuccino and doing some of your social work related stuff is an idea that I like very much. As more of my work becomes virtual and digital I Like to use the infrastructure and convenience of Starbucks and other places to stay. But what about security while using free public Wi-Fi or even handling client related data? ThreatMetrix, a company focussing on security and fraud prevention, published the infographic „Don’t Lose Your Caffeine Buzz to Cybercrime“ which gives some handy advice for basic security as a mobile social worker.
